Amazon Athena is a serverless query service to perform analytics against S3 objects using SQL language. It supports various files formats such as CSV, JSON, ORC, and Avro, and the Athena is built on the Presto engine.
How does Athena work
The user loads data into Amazon S3 buckets, those data can then be analysed by Amazon Athena, you can have reporting of those data using Amazon QuickSight if needed.
