Amazon Redshift is a fully managed, petabyte scale data warehouse service. Redshift is based on PostgreSQL but is not used for Online Transaction Processing (OLTP), but for Online Analytical Processing (OLAP). It is designed for high-performance analytics of large datasets, suitable for business intelligence and data analytics. In Redshift data is stored in columns, so called columnar storage of data. It has SQL interface for performing queries.

Redshift serverless

Redshift serverless automatically provisions and scales data warehouse underlying capacity. You can run analytical workloads without managing data warehouse infrastructure.
